Plastic ball bearings “Made in Westfalen” have been famous for their high quality for decades. By continuously developing the plastic stock material, the potential for machining and applications is now almost limitless.
HAKU ball bearings are manufactured exclusively by machining. This production method allows free design of all dimensions and shapes and guarantees high quality and dimensional accuracy, unlike mass production of injection-molded plastic bearings.

Machining is the fastest and most economical way to produce precision components. Thanks to the minimal starting torque, HAKU ball bearings run very easily and are quiet. We can ship orders starting with a size of one (for example, for design and development).

Areas of application

Wherever the environment makes it difficult or impossible to use steel (due to heat, cold, moisture, lyes, or acids), the use of plastic ball bearings is the better solution.
Applications in the food products industry, for example, have special requirements. Only specially approved materials can be used there.

Other advantages over the use of metal bearings include the plastic bearing’s lower thickness, good noise and vibration damping, electrical insulation or adjustable conductivity, good chemical resistance, permeability to electromagnetic waves, very good corrosion resistance, and thermal insulation.
